Part 1 - Sydney to London

- Selecting the route and carrier for the Sydney to London Journey

- In 1970 I decided to fly via the United States of America with Pan Am

- A Pan AM B707 from Sydney to Honolulu via Nadi, Fiji

- A Pan Am B707 from Honolulu to Los Angeles

- A Continental Trailways 1 Month Pass in USA/Canada

- A United DC8 from Los Angeles to New York then a Pan Am B747 to London

Part 2 - Continental Trailways Pass

- A Bus Pass with 'Continental Trailways' fascilitated travel around USA and Canada for a month

- Accommodation included Youth Hostels, Hotels and sometimes overnight on the bus

Part 3 - European Camping Trips

Working on a casual basis in London with National Mutual for 7 months
Camping Trip with Frontier International around Europe - Departed London 10th April 1971
Camping Trip with Frontier International to Russia and Scandinavia - Departed London 29th May 1971

Part 4 - Safari Nairobi to Cape Town

- Flight with BOAC VC10 London to Nairobi - August 1971

- Camping Safari for 7 weeks Nairobi to Cape Town with Kimbla

- Working casually for National Mutual in Cape Town

London to Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago with LIAT B707 and return.

Port of Spain was a base for trips to -

(A) Grenada, The Grenadines (Ashton on Union Island, Charlestown on Canouan Island, Dovers on Mustique Island), St. Vincent and Barbados,

(B) Venezuela,

(C)Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana, and

(D) Tobago.
